The Joint Research Unit for Genomics Applied to Climate Change (UMIP GenClima) is a joint initiative of Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and State University of Campinas (Unicamp) to unite their expertise in genomics and molecular biology of plants. Aims to create a pipeline of discovery and validation of genes through transgenesis, in order to produce better varieties adapted to the stress conditions imposed by climate change.
